As a bride-to-be, you look into every detail when it comes to wedding planning–the venue, the napkins, the lighting and especially the dresses. I thought finding the perfect dress for my flower girl would be an absolute breeze. I imagined the ideal dress and certainly wanted to keep an affordable price tag in mind. What I failed to realize is how difficult it turned out to be! My precious four year old niece, Chloe, or what I call her–Chlobear–will be the flower girl for my wedding in January. For a tiny little gal, she’s certainly a diva, so I knew she would have to love the dress chosen for her. Just as every girl should!
After searching online, in several different stores, and numerous bridal boutiques, I couldn’t seem to find the one. It wasn’t until then that I finally decided to bring Chlobear along with me to the stores to see not only what I liked, but what she did, as well. We only made a few trips before we ended up at Group USA in Jersey Gardens (Elizabeth, NJ).
I won’t deny it; I absolutely adored this dress and just look at how cute she looks! However, her opinion counts, too, and unfortunately, she said the top was too itchy.
Since the one above wasn’t within her comfort zone, we went on to the next two dresses here. From the looks on her face, you can certainly see which one she didn’t like!
Finally, we attempted the last option we had and Chlobear said yes to the dress! You can tell she absolutely LOVED this dress from the moment we placed it on. She began dancing and smiling like the true diva she is. I was so glad we were able to find such a beautiful dress for my niece without breaking the bank. Needless to say I think she’s definitely stealing the show at my wedding, but it’s okay. She’s too cute! Xoxo
